Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 28, 2026. This policy explains what information is and is not collected when you use CalcoraBase (calcorabase.com).

Summary

  • Everything you type into a calculator or converter is processed in your browser and is never sent to us.
  • CalcoraBase has no accounts or sign-up. The only personal information we receive is what you choose to send through the contact form.
  • CalcoraBase itself does not set cookies or use browser storage.
  • If advertising is enabled, Google and its partners may use cookies as described below, subject to your consent where the law requires it.

Calculations and inputs

The site is a set of static web pages. Calculators, converters, timers and search all run as JavaScript on your device. Values you enter are not transmitted, logged or stored by CalcoraBase. Search queries are placed in the page address (for example /search/?q=percent) so that search works without a server; they are matched against a file downloaded to your browser.

Server logs

Like all websites, the pages are delivered by a hosting provider, which may automatically record technical information such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request. These logs are used for security and to keep the service running, and are kept by the host according to its own retention policy. CalcoraBase does not use them to identify visitors.

Advertising (Google AdSense)

CalcoraBase may display advertising served by Google AdSense. When advertising is enabled:

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
  • Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this and other sites on the internet.
  • You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google’s Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies at aboutads.info.
  • Google explains how it uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Ads are placed automatically by Google (“Auto Ads”). CalcoraBase does not see or control which individual ads you are shown and does not receive personal data about you from Google.

Consent in the EEA, UK and Switzerland

For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, advertising cookies and similar technologies are used only with your consent, collected through a consent message provided by a Google-certified consent management platform (CMP). You can refuse, and you can change or withdraw your choice at any time through the privacy/consent link that the consent message provides. If you refuse, you may still see non-personalized or limited ads, which Google may serve using only necessary cookies or none, depending on your region.

Other US state and regional privacy laws

Where laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act give you the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for targeted advertising, Google’s restricted data processing and consent tools are used for that purpose where advertising is enabled. CalcoraBase does not sell personal information it holds, because it does not hold any.

Contact form

If you use the contact form, the name, email address, topic, optional page address and message you enter are sent to Web3Forms, the service that delivers the form, which forwards them to our email inbox. Web3Forms processes this information on our behalf to deliver the message; see the Web3Forms privacy policy. We use your details only to read and reply to your message, keep the correspondence only as long as needed, and never add you to a mailing list or share your details with anyone else. The form does not set cookies. Please do not include sensitive information in your message.

Children

The site is a general-audience reference suitable for students. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children, and children should not use the contact form without a parent or guardian’s permission.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data held about you and to object to its processing. Because CalcoraBase does not store visitor data, most requests will concern a message you sent through the contact form or data held by Google; for the latter, use Google’s own privacy tools. Send any request through the contact form and choose “Privacy question or data request”.

Changes to this policy

If the way the site handles data changes — for example, if analytics are added — this page will be updated and the date at the top changed before the change takes effect.
