Feet to Inches Converter
Multiply feet by 12 to get inches. Decimal feet convert too: 0.5 ft is 6 inches, 0.25 ft is 3 inches.

Good to know
Decimal feet and feet-and-inches are easy to mix up: 5.75 ft is 5 ft 9 in (0.75 × 12 = 9), not 5 ft 7.5 in. Surveyors and some tape measures use decimal feet; builders usually use feet and inches with fractions. To go from feet and inches to inches only, multiply the feet by 12 and add the inches: 5 ft 9 in = 60 + 9 = 69 in.
